



Mihyun Son
Mihyun Son was born in Seoul, Korea, and studied design and art pedagogics before coming to Germany in 1996. In Aachen, she studied art history and philosophy and gave Korean and music lessons to finance her studies. She was the editor of a Korean cultural magazine until she he opened the gallery in 2005 wth Max Koffler. Since the inauguration, she has been living and working in Berlin, representing and trading art at the intersection of Europe, the United States and Asia with strong ties to Korea.
Max Koffler
Max Koffler was born in Berlin, Germany, and has been following his initial career path, music, from a young age on. He studied Social and Economic Sciences at the Berlin University of Arts. With Mrs Son, he has built the gallery from scratch, which makes him an irreplaceable component in almost every aspect of work. Whereas Mrs Son is concentrating on relations to Asia, Mr Koffler oversees communications and transactions with the U.K. and U.S.A.
Elisabeth Yumin Kröber
Elisabeth Yumin Kröber, Mihyun Son’s daughter, officially joined the gallery team in 2021, although she has been running around with price lists at exhibition openings since the tender age of eight. After studying art history and philosophy at the Humboldt University to Berlin, she moved to New York to pursue her M.A. in Art Business at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She worked at galleries and museums in the United States and Italy before ultimately returning to Berlin to join the gallery. Here, she focuses on academic writing and market research, curating shows, editing exhibition catalogues and assisting sales.
Max Klumker
Max Klumker is the youngest member of the team and enables the gallery to always be up to date with the latest digital tools in order to optimize all necessary work processes. He studied Interaction Design in Berlin and Lisbon and also works as a freelance photographer and film producer. Thanks to his specialization in design and digital, his expertise has a unique dual character.
